Section 3 Installation
3-1
3.1. Installation of the Chair
Installation of the chair is intended to be completed by qualified Global Surgical technicians. The end user should not
attempt to move the chair off the wooden skid and/or install the chair as there is risk of personal injury as well as damage
to the chair.
Refer to Table 2-1 and Figure 3-1 for clearance requirements and determine an appropriate installation site. The
installation should be close enough to a 115 VAC 20A wall receptacle to be reached by the 13 foot (4 m) power cord.
When planning an installation site, ensure the base is positioned where accessibility is not hindered by these limits. Also
ensure the floor is level. An uneven floor may allow the chair to wobble which is undesirable during use with the patient.
