the instructions given by the manufacturer of the disinfectant solution.
5.3. Plastic, Metal, and Painted Surface Cleaning
Plastic, metal, and painted surfaces can be cleaned by using a mild soap and water solution and a clean, soft cloth. To
treat stains, use a soft bristle brush. Use a cloth dampened with water to remove any remaining cleaner. Dry the surface
with a soft, lint-free cloth. Do not use cleaning agents that are not permitted for use with plastics, i.e., ammonia, acetone,
salty acids (HCI), etc.
5.4. Plastic, Metal, and Painted Surfaces Disinfecting
Clean with a cloth dampened (not wet) with water.
These surfaces of the chair can be safely disinfected by using any product
included in the list provided in Table 5-1. All cleaning products in this list are contained in the EPA List N, and have been
tested on the plastic and metal surfaces of the Maxi SMR S 4000 & S 4500 Chairs. The instructions from the
cleaning agents must be followed to avoid damage to the chair materials. If a different product from the EPA List N will be
used, it is strongly recommended to test an inconspicuous spot in the event the cleaner damages the chair surface.
