It is important to carefully consider where you install the LSX3100. This section covers the following

Dimensions
The dimensions of the LSX3100 are 17.7 X 23.6 X 65.0. The LSX3100 weighs 507 lbs.
Power and Network
The LSX3100 uses a standard wall outlet. However, the kiosk should be attached to a power line that
does not have a scheduled shutdown time for maintenance or other purposes. Power supply features
include:
Power Switch with Soft-Switch Shutdown
110/220 Volts
– 60/50 Hz – 283 Watts (Max)
Built-In Surge Protection, Fuse Protection
LSX3100 devices are connected to the main power supply and to the PC unit for its DC power. The
LSX3100 ID Card Reader requires two external cable connections:
USB for data communications
DC power input (24VDC)
Internet Connection
The Internet connection requires a Cat 5 or Cat 6 cable. The network line to the kiosk should not be
included in a domain which has automatic Windows updates or other automatic uploads.
