HOW TO REMOVE & INSERT REPLACEABLE BATTERIES

14.

To insert/replace batteries: undo the screw on the battery compartment cover and open the compartment.
Fit batteries into space provided ensuring they observe the correct polarity (as shown on the product).
Close the compartment securely tightening the screw. Secure the toy tray on the walker.

FITTING AND / OR REPLACING BATTERIES

The toy of the walker frame requires 2x AA 1.5V alkaline batteries (not included) to be inserted into the
battery compartment at the correct polarity.

•

Non rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged.

•

Rechargeable batteries (if they are removable) are to be removed from the toy in order to be recharged.

•

Rechargeable batteries are to be recharged only under adult supervision.

•

Do not mix different types of batteries, or new and used batteries.

•

Batteries are to be inserted with correct polarity.

•

Exhausted batteries have to be removed from the toy.

•

The supply terminals are not to be short circuited.

•

Do not try to open the batteries.

•

Do not throw the batteries in the fire as they could explode or leak some liquid.

•

Batteries should be changed by adults only.

•

Remove batteries before storing the toy for long periods.

•

Dispose of flat batteries in the designated recycling bins.

The strikethrough bin symbol on the appliance or on its packaging indicates that the product
must be disposed of separately from other waste at the end of its life for it to be properly
treated and recycled. The user must therefore confer the equipment at the end of its life to
suitable separate waste collection centres for electronic and electronic waste, or return it to the

retailer according to the following methods:

•

for small equipment, with at least one external side not exceeding 25 cm, there is free delivery without

obligation to purchase at stores with a sales area of electrical and electronic equipment of over 400
square metres. For smaller stores, this mode is optional.

•

for appliances which are larger than 25 cm, delivery is provided at all points of sale on 1on1 basis,
which is to say that the delivery to the dealer will only take place when buying a new equivalent
product, on a one to one basis. Adequate separate collection for the future recycling, treatment
and environmentally compatible disposal of disused equipment, helps preventing possible negative
impacts on the environment and on health, and promotes recycling and/or reuse of the materials of
which they are composed. Improper disposal of the product by the user entails the application of the
penalties referred to in current legislation.
