Water heating light indication
The “HP” LED goes on when the heat pump is running
When the resistance is running the relevant LED goes on.
4.3.9
Error notification
In case of board malfunction an error code helping to identify the failure is shown on the display.
•
“..”: indicates the water heater is off.
•
“_ _ “: indicates that temperature is lower than 5 °C.
•
“EE”: indicates that temperature exceeds 65°C.
•
“E1”: NTC1 ( main water probe) disconnected.
•
“E2”: NTC1 ( main water probe ) in short-circuit.
•
“E5”: NTC3 ( high compressor circuit ) disconnected.
•
“E6”: NTC3 ( high compressor circuit ) in short-circuit.
•
“E7”: NTC4 ( low compressor circuit ) disconnected.
•
“E8”: NTC4 ( low compressor circuit ) in short-circuit.
•
“EH”: high pump circuit overtemperature alarm.
•
“EH”: low pump circuit overtemperature alarm.
For the Technician: to reset the system, press the Comfort and Tank buttons at the same time.
4.4
Hydraulic safety unit efficiency check
The hydraulic unit efficiency is very important to prevent any overpressures inside the tank (that would damage it),
and allows the user to safely operate the equipment. Periodically check the efficiency of the hydraulic safety unit,
according to the instructions provided by the manufacturer. Follow the instructions provided by the manufacturer.
During the check clean the unit and remove any limestone scales.
4.5
Unit emptying
Should the unit be going to remain unused for a prolonged time, we recommend that you empty it. In this case
proceed as follows:
•
cut off the power supply and the main water supply;
•
open a hot water tap to allow air to flow in;
•
turn the emptying knob on the hydraulic safety unit (Fig. 3) to the open position;
•
verify that the discharge connector of the hydraulic safety unit is connected to a drain as specified in par.
