MAINTENANCE
The preventive maintenance consists in the periodic cleaning that has to take place on regular
base to the purpose of maintain the unit in the best working and appearance conditions.
The cleaning frequency depends on the environmental conditions in which the unit is used.
The dust could be removed with a cloth dampened with a house cleaning solution.
The malfunction problems can be of mechanical or electronic type:

incorporates some safety circuits that make practically impossible the break-up of the unit due
to operational error the user.
Should a malfunction be detected it is suggested to check firstly the control setting for possible
setting mistakes.
Test the mains voltage that has to power the unit, it must not exceed the label limits and check
the unit to wall connection, it must be reliable.
If the unit is correctly connected to a functioning mains socket and put in the on condition does
not light, check the fuses and if blow out replace with them with delayed fuses of the nominal
value of 3.15A (T 3.15A). If after this substitution the unit continues to don't light or if it lights
only for few minutes desist from the attempt of restoring and send the unit to a qualified center
for technical assistance.
If the unit lights but the magnetic field doesn't seem to be present, when tested with a small
permanent magnet, it needs to first of all check the transducers connection, if the connection is
fine switch off the unit and, if resistor tester is available, disconnect the transducers from the
unit and test the resistance: few ohm is the normal value: in any case less than 50 ohm. In
consequence to the measurement result try the reparation or send the unit to a qualified center
for technical assistance.
In any case don't open the unit cabinet since this operation if effected by personal not
particularly experienced and authorized could involve from one part risks to the safety of the
person that would be exposed to electric tensions which could result harmful, and from the
other part the loss of the guarantee given by the manufacturing firm and/ or the supplier of the
unit.
