The eight-channel liquid end can be rotated to
any angle for operator comfort.
The Pipetman 8X200 is a high quality instrument

These specifications are obtained in forward mode, using a
gravimetric method with the temperature of the distilled water
and all other conditions stabilized at 21.5° ±1.5°C. The values
given include all components of error due to both normal hand
warming and the changing of the tip.
Performance tests: Each instrument is inspected and
validated according to the Gilson Quality Assurance System.
Based on extensive historical data, manufacturing condi-
tions and expertise, and in compliance with ISO standards
relative to statistical process control, the assurance level of
this instrument performing to specifications is 99.8%. Speci-
fications rely on the quality and consistency for the whole
pipetting system; they are guaranteed with Gilson manufac-
tured tips.
2. SETTING THE VOLUME
The volumeter consists of three number dials
and is read from top to bottom, the bottom figure
being the least significant. The three digits
indicate the volume selected in microliters. The
volume indicated is the volume for each channel.
You can set intermediate volumes using the vernier
marks between the digits on the bottom dial.
Pipetman 8X200 operates in the range from 20 to
200 µl; the smallest incremental setting is 0.2 µl.
