Setup
Set up or Replace the Manifold
1.
Pull the manifold positioning lever forward (toward the
Up
position)
until the manifold is fully raised.
2. Remove the manifold shield covering the manifold carrier, and then set
it aside.
3. Turn (but do not remove) the thumbscrews counterclockwise to free the
manifold retaining clip. Set the manifold retaining clip aside.
4. If necessary, remove the pre-installed manifold.
NOTE
Ensure that the O-ring does not fall out while removing the
manifold.
5. Slide the new manifold into the manifold carrier with the orange O-ring
on the back of the manifold facing the rear.
6. Reinstall the manifold retaining clip.
7. Turn the thumbscrews clockwise until finger tight.
8. Replace the manifold shield, and ensure that the standoff screws are
seated properly on the manifold carrier.
