10. Check the oil level, it should now be at, or close to, the
FULL Mark . Add shortening if necessary and stir
as noted in Step 8 to thoroughly heat.

11. Place the Fry Screen into Fry Vat with handles
oriented to the side of the vat.
12. If equipped, place the Fry Baskets onto the Basket
Lift Carriers .

8. Once oil has reached the first preheat, an alarm will
sound and the Scrolling Display reads “Stir Oil and Push
Reset” . Press the Alarm Reset key. Using the
supplied Stirring Utensil, or other suitable utensil,
thoroughly and continuously stir the cooking oil until the
Heat Light turns OFF and continue to stir until Heat Light
turns ON again.
9. Stir cooking oil until the Heat Light turns OFF for a
second time. Oil has now reached setpoint temperature.

NOTE:
The following step helps remove cool spots within the heated oil, resulting in even heating and more
consistent cooking performance. These steps are typically needed only at the start of the day as cooking
activity will normally keep cooking oil sufficiently agitated.
