Care and contact with liquid
Wipe the base and handset with a
damp
cloth (use no solvent) or an antistatic cloth. A
dry cloth must
never
be used. This can cause static discharge.
Should the handset come in contact with liquid,
under no circumstances switch on
the device. Remove all batteries immediately.
Allow the liquid to drip out of the device and afterwards dab all parts dry.
Place the handset without the batteries in a warm, dry place for at least 72 hours. In
many cases it will subsequently be possible to put the phone into service again.
