Insert Comments directly into the Diagram
Areas of special interest in the diagram can be commented on directly in the dia-
gram. Go there with the mouse, click its right button and type your comment into the
window, which will open.
8.1.2 Program Window „Statistics/Channels“
By clicking on the triangle
to the left of the channel designation its (their) statistical
evaluation and its graph will be displayed.
A click on the channel designation
will let its graph in the diagram appear bold.
The top five numbers are the usual
statistical values
not needing a comment here.
The „Edges per hour“ number is used to analyse steeply rising edges. You can de-
fine the thresholds in the menue “Channels / Set edge criteria”. This is a preliminary
function that will probably be replaced by a figure for the volatility and the “dirty
power” (energetic transients above 2 kHz).
The light-blue field underneath the numbers represents the frequency distribution of
the measured intensities of this channel („
Histogram
“). It is self-scaling and reads
as follows:
On the left of the x-axis the routine puts how often the smallest value has been
measured in the chosen time interval, and on the right end the same of the hig-
hest.
The highest beam marks the measured intensity (be it big or small) found most
often. A very small beam means, that this specific value has been measured very
seldomly.
8.1.3 Menu
Only items that are non-standad will be explained.
Edit
„Copy all“: The big diagram window as is and the dropped-down „Statis-
tics/Channels“ section are copied into the buffer by a click. From there everything
can be inserted into your protocol at any place.
The two other menu options function the same way.
