DO NOT OVER TORQUE BOLTS!
Recommended bolt torque for the DN80 (3 in.) and
DN100 (4 in.)
fl ange of 27-41 Nm (20 to 30 ft-lbs)
Tighten bolts by fi rst assembling and hand tightening the nuts
to position the gasket in place. Then tighten the bolts in a
diagonal pattern 50% the recommended torque, then 100% of
recommended torque.
