Configuring the Infrared Settings for FIR
You will need to change the settings for the infrared device in the BIOS (see
“I/O Device Configuration (Advanced Menu)” on page 5 - 11 ) to enable the
FIR setting support.
To configure your computer for Fast Infrared (FIR) communication follow
these steps:
1. Click Start , point to Settings and click Control Panel .
2. Double-click Wireless Link icon.
3. Click Hardware (tab), then click Properties (button).
4. Select Advanced (tab).
5. Select “Infrared Transceiver A” and change the Value to “HP HSDL-
2300/3600” .
6. Click OK > OK .
