6.2 Playback

You can use the following methods to play back video files recorded by the GV-IP Speed
Dome:



Play back from the memory card by directly connecting it to GV-VMS / DVR / NVR
through a memory card reader.



Play back by using the Remote ViewLog function over the TCP/IP network.



Play back by downloading the recorded files from the built-in FTP Server.

6.2.1 Playback Using the Memory Card

Before playing back the images in the memory card on GV-VMS / DVR / NVR, the Ext2Fsd
program is used for the files to be accessible in Windows. Follow the steps below to download,
install and execute the Ext2Fsd program.

IMPORTANT:

1. The Ext2Fsd program only works on Windows 2000, XP, 2003, vista, 7, 8 and Server

2012.

2. The Ext2Fsd program is subject to and under the terms/conditions of The GNU General

Public License version 2 (GPLv2). Please read before installation.
