6.2.2 Playback over Network
Images recorded in the camera’s memory card can also be played back over TCP/IP network
(from the Web interface) using the Remote ViewLog function.
To play back over Network:
1. Enable remote access to
ViewLog Server

2. For first-time users, download
GV-Remote ViewLog
from the, and the remote
playback function becomes accessible on the camera’s Web interface.
3. When the Remote ViewLog player is open, you will be prompted to select Remote
ViewLog Service or Remote Storage System. Select
Remote ViewLog Service

4. Type the camera’s IP address, login ID and password and modify the default port 5552 if
necessary.
5. Select GV-IP Device as the
Host Type
.
6. Click
Connect
to access the files of the camera for playback.
6.2.3 Access the Recorded Files through FTP Server
You can download the images saved on the memory card using the built-in FTP Server, and
play back using Media Player. See

To play back videos, make sure the GeoVision codec is installed, which can be
downloaded from t, or is included upon installing of GV-Remote ViewLog.
