How to Install the Pump and Bell 
Housing Assembly 

1 

Install the pump and bell housing assembly. 

Deutz models

: Torque the bell housing 

mounting bolts labeled "C" in sequence to 
28 ft-lbs / 38 Nm. Then torque the bell housing 
mounting bolts labeled "C" in sequence to 
40 ft-lbs / 54 Nm. 

Ford model

s: Torque the bell housing 

mounting bolts labeled "A" and "B" in 
sequence to 28 ft-lbs / 38 Nm and the 
mounting bolts labeled "C" to 49 ft-lbs / 66 Nm. 
Then torque the bell housing mounting bolts 
labeled "A" and "B" in sequence to 40 ft-lbs / 
54 Nm and the mounting bolts labeled "C" to 
70 ft-lbs / 95 Nm

.

 

Perkins mode

ls: Torque the bell housing 

mounting bolts labeled "B" in sequence to 
28 ft-lbs / 38 Nm and the mounting bolts
