Connecting the Printer to the AC Outlet

About this Chapter

This chapter provides information concerning the daily use of the printer, including procedures for
connecting the printer and loading print media, and guidelines for selecting print media.

Connecting the Printer to the AC Outlet

1.

Insert the power cord into the AC connector on the rear of the printer.

2.

Verify that the power switch of the printer is in the [O] (off) position, then insert the plug of
the power cord into the AC outlet.

WARNING: Never touch the power cord or plug with wet hands, to prevent the risk of elec-
tric shock. When disconnecting, always grasp the plug and do not pull on the cable. Dam-
age to the cord can lead to fire and electric shock.
