Parts of the Printer
Electrical Requirements
For correct printer operation, install the printer in a location where the AC wall outlet meets the
following electrical requirements.

LN28/microLaser 280, 110V:
90~132 Volts AC grounded @ 50/60 Hz,
9 AMP current draw

LN28/microLaser 280, 220V:
198~264 Volts AC grounded @ 50/60 Hz
4 AMP current draw

The following figures indicate the names and functions of the main parts of the printer.

CAUTION: Never plug a 110VAC printer into a 220VAC wall outlet or plug the printer into a
wall outlet that does not meet the current draw requirement of the printer. Consult an elec-
trician if you are uncertain about the voltage rating of an AC wall outlet

Paper amount indicator
Indicates the approximate
remaining amount of paper.
Power switch
Turns the printer on
and off.
Control panel
Provides access to all
controls required to
operate the printer.

feeding paper to the printer.
Accommodates various print
media including envelopes,
transparencies, and labels.
Extension tray
Holds large paper
output.
Paper exit slot
Releases printed
sheets from the inside
of the printer.
Paper feeder
Holds the paper tray.
Paper output tray
Holds printed sheets.
