There is a user selectable option that will place the unit in Fault every time the Inhibit
Mode is entered. If the operator does not select this option, the Fault circuits will
function normally during the Inhibit Mode (i.e. they will not be inhibited).
While the unit is in the Inhibit mode, the display will indicate

for 5 seconds, then
the field device input level will be displayed for 5 seconds. This sequence will repeat
for as long as the unit is in the Inhibit mode.
The Inhibit Mode is provided so that the operation of the Model TA502A can be
verified without tripping external devices that are connected to the
A1
and
A2
outputs. This type of verification usually occurs during “Initial Start-Up” and/or
“Commissioning”.
NOTE:
The Calibration Mode is accessed at the field device. Refer to the Instruction
Manual of the specific field device for entering and using the Calibration
Mode.
