At the SC800 T3 Main Menu, press

shown below.

If the loopback test requires cooperation with an operator at a remote site, contact that person and make
arrangements to perform the test. Tests that must be initiated (and then terminated) at both sites include the
End-to-End Self-Test, Network Line and Payload Loopbacks

Selections are: Stop Test/No Test (default), Line Loopback, Payload
Loopback, Local Loopback, Local Loopback w/ST, DTE Loopback,
Remote Lineloop, Remote Lineloop w/ST, Remote Payldloop, Remote
Payldloop wST

Test Time Limit
30 seconds (default) or 1-10 in 1 minute intervals or 10 to 30 minutes
in 5 minute intervals, or unlimited.
[3] Transmit DS3 Idle
Active or Inactive (default) - Sends the standard DS3 Idle signal
(11001100...) to the network.
[4] Reset Test results
Resets Diagnostic Results and Bit Errors so you can run another test.
[5] Insert 1-Bit Error
Use this command to insert a single bit error to verify test results.
