SC800 T3 Configuration Menu
At the SC800 T3 Main Menu, press
1
and then press
Enter
to access the Configuration menu.

Configuration Basics
The following procedure provides the basic steps for making configuration changes to the SC800
T3 DSU from any configuration screen. Each screen is described in detail following the procedure.
1. Type the selection number or letter of the configuration option you intend to change, and press
the
Enter
key. A cursor appears on the current setting field for the corresponding option.
2. Use the arrow keys to toggle the selected field through its potential settings.
3. When the field displays the desired setting, press the
Enter
key again. The cursor returns to
the Select field. Repeat steps 1 through 3 for each option you need to change.
4. After all required changes have been made, select
0
to exit the Configuration menu. The
following prompt will appear
Configuration Modifications have been Detected!
Save Changes:[N] Y=Yes N=No,
5. To save changes and update the DSU press the
Y
key, then press
Enter
. The new
configuration will go into effect immediately. If you decide not to put your changes into effect,
press the
N
key then press
Enter
to discard the changes and exit the Configuration menu.
6. The terminal interface returns to the SC800 T3 Main Menu.
Note
To configure the DSU for Master or Remote operation, you must set the hardware option switch on the card
accordingly. See Chapter 2 for details.
