Alarm Configuration Procedures
1. At the Alarm Threshold configuration screen, set the interval for a reporting alarm by typing
the number associated with the alarm (
1 - 6
) and then press
Enter
. A highlight appears in
the selected field.
2. Use the arrow keys to toggle through the potential intervals (
Report All
,
1 Hour
,
1 Minute
,
1 Second
,
Infinite
) then press
Enter
when the field displays the desired
setting.
Note
When an alarm is configured with an interval of
Report All
, the alarm will be reported when the
threshold value is reached, regardless of how long that takes.
3. To set the threshold for an alarm, type the number of the associated Threshold field (
7 - 12)
and then press
Enter
. A cursor appears in the selected field.
4. Use the arrow keys to toggle through the potential settings:
>10
,
>10,000
,
>1,000
,
>100.
Press
Enter
when the field displays the desired setting.
5. Repeat steps 1-4 for any alarms which have been configured for reporting.
6. After all required changes have been made, type
S
to Save & Update Unit and then press
Enter
. The new alarm intervals and thresholds will go into effect in the DSU immediately.
If you decide not to put your interval/threshold changes into effect, type
0
and then press
Enter
to discard these changes and return to Main Menu.
Type
0
and then press
Enter
to return to the Alarm Configuration menu.
