10.2.3 Actual value input In 1 – P:03

This function is only available in the version with an additional external actual value signal.
The actual value input to be used can be selected in order to implement either position
control or process variable control.
For position control, the connected motorized actuator must have a built-in potentiometer for
position detection.
In 1 – Position control
The controller processes the actual value signal from a motorized actuator potentiometer.
It thus implements the positioning of the motorized actuator.

In 2 – Process variable control
The controller processes an external actual value signal (e.g. from a pressure, temperature
or flow transmitter). No potentiometer signal from the motorized actuator is required as the
set value / actual value adjustment takes place between the external actual value signal and
the set value signal.

Defines the type of actual value signal 0...20 mA / 4...20 mA.
