11.3 Acknowledgement and elimination of error messages during
initialisation
If the error message
E:12
or
E:13
occurs during initialisation, the mechanical setting of the
motor potentiometer must be checked and re-adjusted if necessary.
If this should not be possible, the minimum and maximum motor potentiometer end values
can be saved in the controller via menu items
E:io
or
E:no
.
E:io:
The controller initialises with the minimum and maximum values, if these are exceeded. The
actuator always stops at these values so that the potentiometer cannot be overtwisted.
E:no:
The controller moves the actuator until it is stopped by the limit switches.
CAUTION
If the motor potentiometer is set incorrectly with regard to the limit switches, this
may lead to a motor potentiometer defect!
The settings always refer to both errors E12 and E13, no matter which of them occurred.
If the device is disconnected from the supply voltage and no initialisation took place after
selecting "E:io" or "E:no", these settings are no longer valid. This means that the settings are
not saved.
