How to LOAD
1. Insert a Floppy Disk into the disk drive, and press the FLOPPY DISK
key. The DISK icon and the name of the first file contained in the
Floppy Disk will appear in the display.
2. Press PAGE to go to LOAD page.
3. Select the desired file using the TEMPO/DATA, keys. Press ENTER to
confirm.

If you press the FLOPPY DISK key, select the Song and then
press START/STOP or PLAY/STOP, the Song will play in Direct from
Disk mode. (See also the relative notes in the “Getting Started” chapter.
Recognizing a File from its extension
Apart from the Songs in WK and PK formats, and from STYLES and ALL
files, all other files are recognized by their extensions.
MIDIFILES and single STYLES will respectively appear as Mid e U01-
U08 in the display.
The extension for SAMPLES and PERFORMANCES, will be shown in
the display.
No extension is shown for Songs in WK and PK format. WK1 is not
compatible with the files of WK3 and PK7 series made in SONG STYLE
mode.
The following files are available in the disk: SONG, MIDIFILE, STYLE,
PERFORMANCE and SAMPLE.

If you wish to load all Style as a Group, make sure that you have pressed
the DISK key, and then press the CURSOR key. The “AllStyles”
indication starts blinking in the display. Press ENTER to start loading.

If you wish to load all files together, press the CURSOR key once
again. The “ALL.Disk” indication will blink in the display. Press ENTER
to start loading.

To listen to the Songs loaded in the memory, digit the number
corresponding to the selected Song (111-117) in the numeric keypad.
Then press PLAY/STOP to start the execution.

To play a User Style from the machine memory, press the STYLE key
(the LED must be ON) and select the desired Style (96-103), by entering
the relative number in the numeric keypad. Press Single Touch Play
and start the Style as you would do with a normal ROM Style.
