SINGLE TOUCH PLAY
The SINGLE TOUCH PLAY button assigns the factory set sounds
stored in ROM to all the tracks (accompaniment and keyboard tracks)
for each Style/ In addition, this button activates the ARRANGE ON/
OFF button (LED on) and the ARRANGE MEMORY function (corre-
sponding display indicator on).
When SINGLE TOUCH PLAY is off, selecting Styles recalls only the
Style accompaniment sections without changing the keyboard
sounds.
The ON/OFF status of the SINGLE TOUCH PLAY function is shown on
the top left area in the display.
With SINGLE TOUCH PLAY on, the function buttons (F1 … F9) also recall
9 “Single Touch Play” panel settings for the Real Time keyboard sections.
Each ROM Style is associated to 9 different patterns, for a total of 864
situations, in addition to the 96 basic configurations (one for each Style).
STORE PERFORMANCE / PERFORMANCE RECALL
Changes made to the selected Performance can be saved through this
function key.
As explained in the previous chapter, Performances contains various
parameters which can be changed by the user.
If you hold down the STORE PERFORMANCE for a few seconds then
reply to the Performance store confirmation request (“?”) with ENTER, all
the changes made are saved to the Performance.
If you do not wish to cancel the previous Performance, do not confirm with
ENTER, but move to the free location where you wish the new Perfor-
mance to be stored using the TEMPO/DATA key. Only now, confirm with
ENTER.
The Performance number appears in the 3 digit display area only after
activating the STORE PERFORMANCE function.
The PERFORMANCE RECALL / STORE PERFORMANCE key can also
be used as a shortcut to get to Performance mode more quickly:
if you press the PERFORMANCE RECALL / STORE PERFORMANCE
key, the cursor arrowhead will immediately move to the “PERFORMAN-
CE” mode in the display.
