GS-COBRA 

 

 

6.3.1  Show status 

Attempts to connect with the GS-COBRA. Displays current status dialog: 

 

Current Mode can be: 

•

  Firmware stopped (Firmware update): the GS-COBRA firmware is not yet started. 

This may happen because of a firmware update or failed USB initialization. In such 
case, try the Restart Firmware item in the same menu. 

•

  Firmware running: Ready for use. 

 

6.3.2  Restart Firmware 

To force a firmware restart in case it is stopped. 

6.3.3  Update Firmware 

In case a firmware update is available, this menu item allows replacing current firmware with 
the update. You just need to follow the instructions and provide a valid .rom file when asked. 

After a firmware update you can check the firmware is properly updated and running with the 
GSeat status dialog, and restart it if needed. 

 CAUTIONDo not turn off or restart the PC when the GSeat Manager is updating the 

firmware. Do not remove the USB cable when the GSeat Manager is updating the 
firmware.
