GETTING STARTED
MUSIC STAND
A music stand is supplied with the keyboard and
can be easily attached by inserting it into the slots
on the front panel.
POWER
The keyboard should be powered using the
included 12V power supply unit (PSU).
Connect the included PSU to the DC input on the
keyboard, then safely connect the plug to mains
power. Ensure the volume is turned down before
powering on the instrument using the POWER
button. The display will show “0.01”.
Please Note: To save energy, the SDP-4 will
automatically power off after 30 minutes if not
used. To turn off this setting, press and hold the first
key (A0) when powering on the piano.
HEADPHONES
Standard pairs of stereo headphones can be
connected to the two HEADPHONES outputs
for private practice. The internal speakers are
automatically muted when headphones are
connected to jack 2.
Please Note: When using headphones, it is advised
to avoid playing the piano at loud volumes for long
periods of time.
SETTING THE VOLUME
Rotate the volume knob clockwise to increase and
anti-clockwise to decrease the master volume,
adjust as required.
Please Note:
the internal speakers will mute when headphones
are connected.
