DUET
The duet feature of the SDP-4 adds arrangements
to compliment your performances. In duet mode,
simply play notes in the left-hand “chord zone” and
the system will automatically add pre-set melody
patterns to embellish the performance.
Press the [DUET] button to enter this mode. The
display will show the selected duet type (e.g “d01”)
for 2 seconds, before returning to the main display
status. Repeat this process to turn off the duet
function, the display will show “oFF”.
There are 32 duet types built into the SDP-4, with
each voice paired with a pre-set duet sound. To
manually select a different type, Press and hold
the [SHIFT] button and then use the [+/ YES]/[-/
NO] buttons to scroll through the duet options as
required.
When in duet mode, the piano is automatically split
into two sections; a left-hand “chord zone” and a
right-hand “melody section”. As with the “lower”
mode on the piano, the split point occurs after note
F#3 (meaning the “chord zone” is the left-hand 34
keys). To adjust this, press and hold the [LOWER]
button and then press the piano key where you
wish the split point to be.
BEEP TONE
A prompt tone can be used when pressing function
keys. To turn the feature on/off, press and hold the
[SHIFT] key and then press the BEEP piano key.
