VOICES
The SDP-4 has 20 different voices (please refer to
voice list appendix for details).
To select voices, press the [VOICE] button to enter
the voice mode. The display will show “0.01”. Use
the [+/YES]/[-/NO] buttons or the voice direct select
buttons to choose the different voices.
DUAL
Two voices can be layered and played
simultaneously using the dual function. To do this,
first select the upper voice. Then, press and hold
the [SHIFT] button and then press the [DUAL]
button to enter this mode. The display will show the
default dual voice number (d.19) and the [+/YES]/
[-/NO] buttons can be used to select other dual
voices.
To exit dual mode, press and hold the [SHIFT]
button and then press the [DUAL] button again.
LOWER
Different voices can be played in the left and right
hands using the lower function. To do this, first
select the right-hand upper voice. Then, press
and hold the [SHIFT] button and then press the
[LOWER] button to enter this mode. The display will
show the default lower voice number (L.19) and the
[+/YES]/[-/NO] buttons can be used to select other
left-hand lower voices.
The “split” point which separates the upper and
lower voices will default at piano key F#3. To adjust
this, press and hold the [LOWER] button and then
press the piano key where you wish the split point
to be.
To exit lower mode, press and hold the [SHIFT]
button and then press the [LOWER] button again.
