4.2.4 Direction of rotation of the bowl and motor

Switch on motor.

The bowl must rotate in clockwise direction when looked at from above.

When the direction of rotation is incor-
rect the motor connections must be
reversed by an authorised specialist.

Check the direction of rotation of the motor whenever starting the separa-
tor:

on mobile or not permanently installed separator installations which are con-
nected to different electric power supplies and

•

when using extension cables.

4.2.5 Speed and starting time of the bowl

Speed

– for densities of the product up to max. 1.05 kg/dm

and

– for densities of the separated solids up to max.

2.0 kg/dm

Starting time

20 - 25 secs

The bowl speed has been rated so as to ensure the operating safety of the
separator.

If the densities exceed those stated above, check with the factory.
