Programming the VGA Optica
Network Menu
Networking settings including IP Address, Subnet Mask and Default
Gateway. Generally, you will obtain these settings from your network
administrator. This menu is accessed by selecting the
Network
control button on Menu 1 and pressing
ENTER
.

Host Name
Enter the host name for the Optica unit of the LAN.
Domain
Enter the Domain name for the local network.
IP Address
Type*
Use the left and right arrow keys to select between
DHCP and Static IP.
Get the IP from the Server,
or Specify an IP Address.
IP Address*
If you choose to specify an IP address, you must
enter it here.
Enter four decimal integers
between 0 and 255.
Subnet Mask*
If you choose to specify an IP address, you must
enter a Subnet Mask.
Enter four decimal integers
between 0 and 255.
Default
Gateway*
If you choose to specify an IP address, you must
enter a Default gateway.
Enter four decimal integers
between 0 and 255.
OK button
Save changes and return to the previous screen.
Enter a number (6 maximum).
Help button
Display help for the network screen.
