INSTALLING THE ENERVISTA DDFR SETUP PROGRAM
CHAPTER 1: GETTING STARTED
1.3.1
Hardware Requirements - DDFR Setup and Monitoring Software
The following minimum requirements must be met for the DDFR Setup software to operate
on your computer.
• Pentium class or higher processor (Pentium II 300 MHz or better recommended)
• Microsoft Windows 2000, XP
• 64 MB of RAM (256 MB recommended)
• Minimum of 50 MB hard disk space (200 MB recommended)
1.3.2
Hardware Requirements - DDFR Archiver
The following requirements must be met for (1) the DDFR Archiver software to operate
effectively on your computer, and (2) effective archival of potentially large amounts of data
from DDFRs in the field.
• Pentium class or higher processor (Pentium II 300 MHz or better recommended)
• Microsoft Windows Professional, Windows 2000 Server, Windows 2003 Server,
Windows XP Professional
• 0.5 GB of RAM (minimum 256 MB recommended)
• 100 GB hard disk space (minimum 200 MB recommended)

Setting Up the EnerVista Software
1.3.3.1 EnerVista DDFR Setup
After ensuring the above minimum hardware requirements are met, use the following
procedure to install the DDFR software from the GE EnerVista CD.

Insert the GE EnerVista CD into your CD-ROM drive.

Click the
Install Now
button and follow the installation instructions
to install the
EnerVista Launchpad
software on your local PC.
