Note:
Before programming your system, you must set the time and
date and it is recommended that you change the default passwords.

more information.
Using the programming control buttons
The following buttons are used to program the panel along with the
LCD display.
Button Description
Arrows
Right arrow: Takes you to a programming option's sub
menu and toggles between a programming option's
selections
Left arrow: Toggles between a programming option's
selections
Up arrow: Moves the cursor up
Down arrow: Moves the cursor down
Menu
Used to open and close the primary menu screen
Enter
Takes you to a programming option's sub menu or jumps
you to the Save function in the menu so you can quickly
save your data
Keypad
Used to enter numbers and letters needed for the various
settings
Cancel
Exits the current menu level and returns to the previous
menu level. Exits menu mode if you are at the highest
menu level. Deletes text when editing labels, etc.
Programming mode
When you program the panel, you enter programming mode. When
you enter programming mode, the panel goes into a trouble
condition and the trouble buzzer sounds. If there is no programming
activity within four minutes, the panel returns to normal operation.
A level 1 password is required to access the Time and Date and the
Control menu options. A level 2 password is required to access all
other programming options.
Note:
The system automatically logs you out after four minutes of
inactivity.
