Disabling a loop event
Some loop events can be disabled. When you disable a loop event,
the event is not displayed on the LCD display when it activates.
When you disable a loop event:
• The common Disable LED turns on
• The common Trouble LED flashes and the panel goes into a
trouble state
• The common trouble relay changes state
• The disabled points and active points counters on the LCD
display increment
• A message indicating the loop event that is disabled is displayed
on the LCD display
Note:
Not all loop events can be disabled. Loop events that cannot
be disabled are labeled as "forbidden." The following loop events
can be disabled:
• Loop 1 fault (event ID 001)
• Loop 2 fault (event ID 011)
• Loop 1 card fault (event ID 003)
• Loop 2 card fault (event ID 013)
• Loop 1 unconfigured alarm (event ID 004)
• Loop 2 unconfigured alarm (event ID 014)
• Loop 1 unconfigured trouble (event ID 005)
• Loop 2 unconfigured trouble (event ID 015)

To disable a loop event:
1. Press the Menu button.
2. Choose
Control.
3. Enter your password (the minimum of a level one password is
required).
4. Choose
Enable/Disable.
5. Choose Loop Event.
6. Select the loop event type that you want to disable.
Refer to "Event ID numbers and descriptions" for event
descriptions and the list above for the events that can be
disabled.
