RS 85 Cable Drape Mount
Two cable drapes are provided with the RS 85 tube stand to cover the high voltage and system
cables going to the tube housing and collimator.
One drape is 2.2 meters long and is mounted between the top of the column and the tube arm.
The other one is initially 4 meters long and is mounted between the column top and the wall
fixation.
The cable drapes must be installed after all cables are connected to the tube and column, and the
harnesses are made.
1. Remove the column and wall box top covers.
2. Install the 2.2 meter cable drape between the column top and the tube arm:
Wrap the cables with the appropriate drape.
At the top of the column, secure the drape on the cable with a ty−rap as close as possible to the channel
entrance as shown in Illustration 6.
On the tube housing end, wrap the drape as far as possible along the cables. Allow the cable going to the
connection point in the arm to exit the drape through the Velcro.
Secure the cables and the drape on the tube arm with two ty−raps as shown in Illustration 6.
3. Install the 4 meter cable drape between the column top and the wall fixation point:
Note:
The initial length of the drape for this section is enough to accommodate an installation with
the rail installed far from the wall.
Allowing about 10 cm inside the cable channel, cut the drape to the appropriate length.
Clamp the cables with the drape inside the wall box.
At the top of the column, secure the drape on the cable with a ty−rap as as close as possible to the
channel entrance as shown in Illustration 6.
4. Reinstall the column cover. Make sure the ty

raps are hidden inside the cover (Illustration 6).
5. Reinstall the wall box cover.
