B.4 GLUE GUN ADJUSTMENT
The glue guns are adjusted mechanically at the factory for dispensing uniform
glue spot size for all glue guns. Normally, mechanical adjustments of the glue
guns is not necessary once they leave the factory.
If it becomes necessary to adjust any particular glue gun mechanically:

Turn the adjusting screw clockwise to reduce the size of the glue spot

Turn the adjusting screw counterclockwise to increase the size of the
glue spot

Adjusting screw should never be rotated more than 1.5 flats CCW from
full CW stop position.
NOTE: THIS ADJUSTMENT IS VERY DELICATE. SLIGHT ADJUSTMENT
MAKES A BIG DIFFERENCE IN THE SIZE OF THE GLUE SPOT.
When all glue guns dispense glue uniformly, any preferred increase or
decrease in spot size is accomplished electronically by entering a new value
via the glue setup keys on the touchscreen menu. Enter parameters for spot
size; i.e., SIDE GLUE “SPOT TIME” = 0.8 millisecond
This controls the actual volume of glue dispensed.
