MAINTENANCE CALIBRATION
. The application lists the setup requirements
for its calibration crimp (coupling and die set).

When you’re ready for the calibration crimp, tap
PROCEED
. Press and hold
the red
PRESS & HOLD TO CALIBRATE
button to perform the crimp.

When you have completed the calibration crimp, measure the crimp diameter
with calipers, as described in “Measuring Crimp Diameter” on page 13.
Enter the crimp diameter with a leading number (even if that number is a
zero) and three decimal places: 1.003 or 0.997, for example.

If the crimp diameter is out of calibration, the application will make internal
adjustments and ask you to perform another crimp.
MAINTENANCE LOG
The Gates GC20 Cortex keeps a maintenance log where it automatically enters
maintenance events such as Setup Calibration, Maintenance Calibration, and
updates to the application and its data.
You can add other Maintenance Actions manually to expand this log.

From the Pull-Down menu, choose
MAINTENANCE LOG
. The application
displays the maintenance log, Figure 65.
