have fully set up the hose and coupling and are ready to crimp.

With everything in place, press the red

PRESS & HOLD TO CRIMP END 1

button. Your finger must remain on the button on the screen or the crimp

will immediately abort. In the case of an error or an emergency, remove your

finger from the button and the crimp will immediately stop and the ram will

retract. If a partial crimp is performed and the ram has touched the die cone,

that assembly must be scrapped and the process re-started.

15.

During ram retraction, the button turns green and the application displays

summary information so that you can prepare for your next crimp. When the

application is ready to begin End 2, the button turns red and displays

PRESS

& HOLD TO CRIMP END 2.

IMPORTANT:

The tablet tells you the correct crimp diameter and crimp length for

each coupling you’re crimping. When you have completed the crimp,

you can use these values to match against the actual crimp as

measured by your calipers. If the measured crimp is different,

perform a maintenance crimp. Check every crimp with calipers.
