AFTER USE
WARNING
–
Do not
leave the appliance unattended while connected to
the power supply. Even some minutes after switching off, the appliance is still hot.
Always switch OFF the appliance (turn both control dials to the “MIN” position),
unplug, and allow cooling down, before moving the appliance, removing any
parts of the appliance (e.g. the grilling plate and fondue pot) and before removing
meat juices and fat from the grilling plate.
Do not leave the appliance unatten-
ded, when it is in reach of young children and animals.
IMPORTANT -
Before moving the appliance, always remove the fondue pot, gril-
ling plate and raclette dishes from the appliance!
1. Immediately after you have finished cooking, turn both control dials to the “MIN”
position for switching off the appliance. Unplug the appliance from the power
outlet.
2. Remove any leftovers and all raclette dishes from the appliance. However, leave
the fondue pot on the fondue plate, until the appliance cooled down.
3. After cooling, remove the fondue pot. Then, carefully pull the grilling plate
upwards, avoiding to spill any juices from the grilling plate.
NOTE
If there are a lot of runny juices left on the grilling plate, it may be useful to place
a sufficiently large bowl beside the appliance for carefully pouring out the juices
at the corner of the grilling plate. This may help to keep your table clean.
4. Always clean the appliance and all used accessories after use (see: ‘Care and
Cleaning’). Do not leave any food dry on the appliance or any part of it.
