WEEKLY WARTUNG:
•
Clean the machine thoroughly.
•
Check that the controls and external emergency devices (emergency stop button and mobile
bowl protection cover) are working properly.
•
Check the external machine components: spiral, column, bowl.
MONTHLY WARTUNG:
•
Lubricate the bearings, if necessary.
•
Check the belt tension.
•
Check the drives for unusual noises.
•
Check the strength of the spiral and column screws (see screw tightening torque table
below).
•
Check the efficiency of gas springs on models using these components to control the
opening of the mobile bowl cover, and replace them if necessary.
ANNUAL WARTUNG:
•
Check the electrical system.
•
Clean the machine and check it completely (also external and correct functioning).
•
Check the gear parts completely.
a. The drive belts must be replaced when they begin to fraze or under heavy tension and
before they break. It is necessary to replace the entire set of gears associated with a
transmission, even if only one of the belts requires replacement.
b.
The bearings may wear out, especially under the following conditions: insufficient
cleaning, excessive use of the machine in first gear in the reverse direction, improper
use of the machine, resulting in deposits of food in the bearing group, thereby reducing
the life of the bearings. The bearings must be replaced by a suitably qualified
technician using appropriate tools and fully compliant with safety and local safety
regulations.
