36.-GENERAL LUBRICATION
Lubricate the parts shown periodically or when the vehicle is wet, especially af-
ter using high pressure water. Before lubrica ti ng each part, clean rusty spots with
rust remover and clean any grease, oil or dirt.
General lubrica ti on
• Clutch lever (1).
• Front brake lever (2).
• Rear brake pedal (3).
• Rear brake pedal bearing (4).
• Gear shi ft pedal (5).
• Use a spray to lubricate with pressure.
• Use grease inside the thro tt le cable.
Chain lubrica ti on
It is necessary a ft er driving on wet ground when the chain looks dry.
The chain is an o-ring chain, therefore a speci fi c lubricant should be used for
this type of chains. Your GAS GAS o ffi cial service will be pleasured to provide it.
