34.-FUEL SYSTEM
Check the status of: fuel tank rubber plug, fuel tank plug, the fuel tank respira-
tor and the fuel tank.
35.-STEERING HEAD ADJUSTMENT
The steering should always be kept adjusted so that the turn freely and without
play.

the ground, using a stand under
the chassis. Move the handlebar gently to each side; if it con
ti
nues to move the
handle by itself, means that the steering is not too
ti
ght. Squa

ng in front of the
bike, grasp the bo
tt
om of the front fork (on axis), push and pull the fork (1). If
there is play, the steering is too loose.
If you have to adjust the steering:
1. Stabilize the bike with a stand or a support.
2. Keep the front wheel o
ff
the ground.
3. Remove the handlebar by loosening the handlebar clamps (2) and remo-
ving the upper
fl
anges.
4. Loosen the nut on the steering axle (3).
5. Turn the adjus
ti
ng nut of the steering (4) with the special key to get a pro-
per
fi
t.
6. Tighten the nut on the steering sha
ft
.
7. Double check the steering and adjust again if necessary.
8. Install the removed parts.
