It is important to understand that the unit does not display a
3-D representation of the underwater enviroment. The unit can
display multiple things at the same time, but can not determine
exactly where the return originated from. Example 2 illustrates
how the transducer looks at the underwater structure. While it
appears that the fish is directly below the tree branches on the
display, the transducer view clearly shows that the fish is sever-
al feet away from the tree.
