If you sell or
otherwise dispose of the machine, please pass on the
instruction manual as it forms part of the machine.
Remember user is the responsible of danger and
accidents caused to other people or things. The
manufacturer will not be liable for damages caused by
an inadequate or incorrect use of the machine.
2. NORMATIVE AND SECURITY
MEASURES
Read all the warning signs and all the
instructions. The non observance of the
warning and instructions detailed from here
on can result in a fire being caused and/or a serious
injury. Before using the machine, read carefully the
information in this manual on a secure and correct
start up. If you have any doubts about the information
in this manual, either consult with a professional or go
back to where you purchased the machine and ask.
The following list of dangers and precautions include
the most probable causes whilst using the machine.
If you find yourself in a situation not explained in
this manual, use your common sense and use the
machine in the most secure way and if you see any
danger, do not use the machine.
2.1. USERS
This machine has been designed to be operated by
people over 18 and whom have read and understood
the instruction manual. This machine cannot be used
by persons (including children) with reduced physical,
psychological or mental capabilities, or lack of
experience or knowledge.

the machine.
Attention! Do not allow people who do not
understand the instruction manual to use the
machine.
The cutting tool of this machine is sharp. Using this
machine inadequately could be dangerous.
Attention! Only lend this machine to people who
are familiarized with this type of machine and know
how to use it. Always lend the instruction manual
with the machine so that the new user reads it and
understand it prior to carrying out any work.
This machine is dangerous in untrained hands.
2.2. PERSONAL SECURITY
Verify the state of the tree prior to cutting to ensure
that dry branches will not fall off on top of you whilst
cutting.
When cutting a branch that is under tension, be alert
to the risk of it hitting back. When the tension of the
fibres of the wood are released, the branch can kick
back at you and you may lose control of the machine.
Be extremely careful when cutting shrubs and young
trees. Thin materials can be projected towards the end
user or could make you lose your equilibrium.
When transporting the machine hold the front handle
with the machine disconnected and at a safe distance
from other body parts. When storing the machine,
always cover the blade and chain with a cover. An
appropriate use of the machine will reduce the risk of
contact with the chain in motion.
