New chains need some time until the teeth adapt
and this could modify slightly the length of the chain.
This adaptation takes only a couple of minyes when
in use. If you have just changed the chain, remember
to check the tension of the chain after a couple of
minutes using the machine.
5.2.2. CHAIN OIL
Only use oil specfically recommended for chainsaws.
Do not use already used oils or oils with impurities as
this could damage the oil pump of the machine.
The chain oil must be introduced in the chain oil
deposit.
To avoid dirt and impurities entering the interior of the
deposit, clean the oil cap of the deposit before opening
it.
Close the cap of the oil level and clean if any oil has
fallen outside the deposit.
Check the level of the oil by looking at the oil level
gauge.
Note: The life span of the chain and bar guides depends
on the quality of the oil used. Do not use old or already
used oil! Only use oil that does not damage your
surroundings. Only store oil in homologated recipients.
