Demo mode
The demo mode is activated if the
°
symbol appears
in the display. The appliance does not heat up.
Briefly disconnect the appliance from the mains
(switch off the domestic fuse or the circuit-breaker in
the fuse box). Then deactivate the demo mode within
3 minutes in the basic setting (see section entitled
Basic setting
).
Replacing the oven light bulb
It is possible to replace the oven light. Heat-resistant
60 W, 120 V halogen bulbs can be obtained from
customer service or from a specialist retailer.
Note:
The appliance is very heavy; the light
bulb should therefore only be replaced by a qualified
service engineer with the appropriate support
equipment.

WARNING
Make sure the appliance and lights are cool and
power to the appliance has been turned off
before replacing the light bulb(s). Failure to do
so could result in electrical shock or burns.The
lenses (if equipped) must be in place when
using the appliance.The lenses (if equipped)
serve to protect the light bulb from
breaking.The lenses (if equipped) are made of
glass. Handle carefully to avoid breaking.
Broken glass can cause an injury.

WARNING
Risk of electric shock
When you replace the oven interior lamp, the
contacts of the lamp holder are live. Before
replacing the lamp, remove the mains plug or
deactivate the fuse in the fuse box.

CAUTION
To avoid risk of personal injury or property
damage, wear gloves when replacing the light
bulbs.
Note:
Always remove the new halogen bulb from the
packaging using a dry cloth. This increases the
service life of the bulb.
Method
Note:
You must remove the whole appliance in order
to replace the cooking compartment light. Follow the
installation instructions.

Unplug the appliance from the mains or switch off
the circuit breaker in the fuse box.

Open the appliance door.
Undo the securing screws on the right and left-
hand side of the oven. Follow the installation
instructions.

Carefully lift out the appliance.

Undo the screw from the light cover on the outer
left-hand side wall and remove the cover. (Fig. A)
Pull out the halogen bulb. (Fig. B).

Insert the new halogen bulb (Fig. C)

Screw the lamp cover in place.
Reassemble the appliance in the reverse order.

Switch the circuit breaker in the fuse box back on
or plug in the mains plug.
Replacing the glass cover
If the glass cover in the oven is damaged, it must be
replaced. You can obtain covers from the customer
service. Please supply your appliance's E number and
FD number.
