4.3.2.2 Installation of BKS-NET interface module
Interface modules are required at the slave control units if the power supply is connected via
proprietary separate safety equipment (automatic circuit-breakers), or the distance (total cable
length) between the control units is greater than 10 m.
If several RWA compact control units of type RZ XX are physically mounted together to increase
the power output or extend the ventilation lines and these are supplied, coupled and networked
via one phase of the power supply network, interface modules are not required.
NOTE
The line termination resistors
must be applied at the last
control unit of the bus in each
case via jumper J2
(apply jumper at the fi rst and
second pin from the left - see
illustration on right).
When linking control units, the terminal resistor installed at the factory at terminal clamps SI1 and
SI2 must be removed and inserted at terminal clamps SO1 and SO2 of the upstream control unit.
