The character set to be used when sending the text message can be selected in

field; the Codec system is the default. “UNICODE” can
be selected for communication with the mobile devices of other manufacturers.
TIP
If this menu is accessed by selecting the “Contact list” or “Group list” as the target,
the name of the entry is displayed instead of the target number. The display is reset
to the target number by first pressing the
