Enjoying DivX
®
VOD
This unit allows you to play back the files purchased or rented
from DivX
®
Video-On-Demand (VOD) services. The files are
available on the internet. When you purchase or rent
DivX
®
VOD files on the internet, you will be asked to enter a
registration code. This menu item provides you with the
registration code.
Preparation:
• You must have the DivX
®
VOD player installed on your
computer.

In stop mode, press
[SETUP]

Go to “Settings”

“Register”, then press
[ENTER

.
• The registration code will appear.

Take the registration code and access
www.divx.com/vod from your PC.

Register this unit for the DivX
®
VOD by following the
instructions given by the site.

Download the activation (registration) file and play it
back on this unit to activate the unit for DivX
®
VOD.
You may face the situation that you need to deregister this unit
from the activated device list of your DivX
®
VOD player.
To deregister, you need a deregistration code. Deregistration
code is given in the DivX
®
VOD menu. Refer to the setup
menu on page 66.
Take the deregistration code and access www.divx.com/vod
to finish deregistering.
Note
• Some DivX
®
VOD files are restricted with the limited
playable times.
• You cannot play back the DivX
®
VOD files of which rental
period has been expired.
• You cannot play back the DivX
®
VOD files obtained with
different registration codes on this unit.
• This unit does not support the DivX
®
file with UDF format.

Various Playback Functions
You can resume playback from the point where you stopped it
before.

During playback, press [STOP
C
].
• The resume message will appear.

Press [PLAY
B
].
In a few seconds, playback will resume from the point at
which you stopped it before. Even if you turn off the unit,
you can resume playback at the same point after turning
back on the unit.
For title in the HDD, you can also play from the resume
point by selecting “Resume Playback” at step
3
of “Playing
Back the Titles Recorded on HDD or Disc” on page 43.
Resume information will be cleared when;

[STOP

is pressed while in the Resume-On-Stop mode.
For HDD:
You can set a resume point per every title.
For Disc:
You can set only one resume point per disc.
For MP3 and JPEG files:
Playback will resume from the beginning of the file at which
playback was stopped.
For HDD (Video / Music / Photo files) / SD card / USB
device playback:
Resume information will be cleared when;
- the SD card / USB device is removed.
- the unit is turned into the standby mode.
- the file list screen is exited.
Note
• Resume playback may not be available for the Blu-ray
Disc™ that supports Java applications (BD-Java).
